  I   Unit: Body Integration Theme: Innermost Fantasy    Introduction   Trudi Schoop believed in exploring, through dance/movement, the fantasy life of clients diagnosed as psychotic.   I Check In II   Unit: Body Integration Theme: Trudi Schoop / Rhythm Drumming   Introduction Rhythm can be defined as a strong, regular, repeated pattern of movement or sound. Drumming is defined as a continuous rhythmic sound. Thus, rhythm and drumming put together could be described as a strong continuous rhythmic sound with a repeated pattern of movement or sound. Trudi Schoop idea of using rhythm and drumming with people with schizophrenia helped clients to develop a sense of body limits. As clients experience cathexis, their sense of body parts becomes satisfactory.
